The Shieldbreaker is a beneficial ally and will help you banish evil that that resides in the Darkest Dungeon. The Shieldbreaker DLC brings an all new recruitable hero into Darkest Dungeon. She is a powerful tactical combatant, able to pierce armor, break guards, and poison foes. The DLC also includes several new monsters and a new consumable item type: the Aegis Scale! The Shieldbreaker is a powerful ally in the fight to reclaim the Estate and banish the evil that squats in the Darkest Dungeon. A highly-tactical and solid damage dealing hero, she truly excels when countering monsters with high protection and those who guard their allies. My Shieldbreaker had a nightmare earlier while camping on the first level of the Darkest Dungeon, which cost me the life of a Bounty Hunter, which in turn eventually snowballed into my stygian run's failure by reaching the 12 deaths cap (as a consolation prize, I still managed to beat that first DD level with only 3 (virtuous) heroes left).

Though outwardly demure, her emancipation from the barren wastes came at a price so terrible, it haunts her dreams even now...

The Shieldbreaker is a powerful ally in the fight to reclaim the Estate and banish the evil that squats in the Darkest Dungeon. A highly-tactical hero with solid damage dealing capability, she truly excels when countering monsters with high protection and those who guard their allies. Her movement, speed, and targeted abilities make her a valuable ally for dismantling intractable monster groups. Though relatively low health, the Shieldbreaker is yet highly survivable in short bursts thanks to her Aegis shield.
